Tasoil Premium Huon Oil T-Shirt

Tasoil is fake oil conglomerate that represent the ~18 grams of huon pine oil that I once distilled from huon pine offcuts purchased from the world's only huon pine sawmill in Strahan, Tasmania.

The huon pine tree Lagarostrobos franklinii is a long-lived, slow-growing tree endemic to Tasmania. These trees grow 1 mm in diameter a year, meaning that they are illegal to log and cannot be grown in plantations. The only source of huon pine wood is in logs dredged from the bottom of Tasmania's lakes and rivers.

Huon pine has a unique aroma which is captured in its distilled essential oil.

Tasoil currently holds the world's largest known reserve of huon pine oil.
